Thorough teeth cleaning The new patient exam includes a professional healthy mouth teeth cleaning and polishing * with one of our hygienists after we have checked your gum and bone health. This gets you off to a good start on the road to keeping your mouth healthy.

Full set of digital X-rays First Visit & New Patient Exam The doctor will show you what they find and explain what needs to be done.

We use low-radiation digital X-rays to get a detailed view of your mouth, teeth and gums. We take a full set of X-rays.

Oral exam and consultation Our doctor will then conduct a thorough examination of your teeth and gums as well as the inside of your mouth and throat.

They will discuss your goals and concerns regarding your oral health and smile and will review your dental and medical health history.

Oral cancer check Your doctor will do a visual screening for oral cancer.

Intraoral photography First Visit & New Patient Exam An intraoral camera is used to get photos of the inside of your mouth.

We take photographs of the inside of your mouth which are stored in your patient records. While talking with you about the condition of your teeth and gums the doctor or hygienist can show you these photos on a screen. This is very helpful in educating patients and showing them any trouble areas the doctor sees.

Extraoral photography If you are interested in cosmetic dentistry, extraoral photographs are taken. This is included in our new patient exam.

Treatment plan First Visit & New Patient Exam The doctor will go over your treatment options and answer your questions.

The doctor will carefully explain the different treatment options and their costs and will make their recommendations. They will answer any questions you have. A treatment plan is then created, taking into account your budget and wishes.

*Not all patients will qualify for a healthy mouth cleaning, if your current oral health condition requires a more involved cleaning you will receive a $50 credit toward the service
